Creating Batch Orders

You have total control over your membership orders for traditional club releases. Simply create the batch and walk through the process. A Preflight report will be generated so you can see how your batch will preform and allow you to fix any issues you might want to address before creating orders.

How to create a batch

1. Navigate to the Releases Section

  • Open the Bloom Commerce app.

  • Locate and select the "Releases" section.

  • Scroll down to the "Batches" tab.

  • Choose the specific release you want to charge members for (e.g., 2025 Spring Release).

2. Create a New Batch

  • Click on "Create a Batch" (available in multiple locations).

  • This action will lead you to the batch creation page.

3. Select Membership Groups

  • Identify and select the groups within your release that you wish to charge. 

  • Select the groups you want to include in the batch and continue. 

4. Apply Filters

  • Fulfillment Filter: Choose between members who are shipping their release or picking it up.

  • Customization Filter: Decide if you want to filter by members who have customized their release or those who have not.

  • Choose "All" if you don't want to filter your memberships buy fulfillment or customization. 

5. Review Member List

  • After applying filters, a list of eligible members will be displayed.

  • Ensure the members meet your selected criteria (e.g., shipping members, not customized). Search, filter and sort if needed, to find the memberships not listed on the first view. 

  • If you need to remove memberships at this point, check the box next to the membership and use the Remove feature in the Bulk Actions dropdown. 

6. Finalize the Batch

  • Confirm that the remaining members will be included in the batch and charged for the wine.

  • Name your batch appropriately and save.

7. Set Shipping Preferences (if applicable)

  • If using Ship Compliant, set your preferred ship date and order type.

  • If not, proceed to create your pre-flight, or save the batch so you can come back to it later. 

8. Create orders

  • After you've reviewed the Preflight report and made any updates click the Create Orders button in the top right. 

  • Confirm any banners or dialogs and continue. This will create your orders in Shopify.
