How to merge customers without breaking the Bloom connection

Shopify's new customer merge feature is a great way to consolidate member records when you have a member who has more than one Shopify profile. Typically this happens when a member has made purchases under different email addresses or when they get a new email address. 

Shopify does allow you to merge members but please make sure that you are keeping the Shopify profile that is attached to the Bloom membership. Here's a video that explains the best practice.
