Configure Subscriptions in Bloom Commerce
- From the top of the Bloom Commerce dashboard, click the View all link on the Subscriptions card. This will load the Bloom Commerce app in a new tab. Then click Plans. If you don't see the subscriptions card on the dashboard it is because you don't have any subscribers yet. In this case, click the Orders card. This will load the Bloom Commerce app in a new tab. Then click Subscriptions in the left navigation. Then click Plans.
- In the Selling Plans section, click the Add selling plan button. Add recurring order frequencies and default discounts for those frequencies. Note that discounts can be applied later to individual products in your plan.
- You'll then need to add the products you want customers to subscribe to. Click the Add Products button and select your products using the product picker.
- After products have been selected you'll see they won't have Selling plans applied and there is a Setup button. Click the Setup button and select the Plans you want for the product. Here you can define new discounts for each plan. This allows different products to have different discounts that use the same order frequency. You can set custom quantities on your subscriptions products. This is an advanced feature that requires enabling the Bloom Commerce cart validation functions in Shopify Checkout settings. Please contact us if you'd like to use this feature.
- Last, select the Delivery options you want to use for your subscriptions. Select Use store shipping rates if you want to use the rates defined in Shopify shipping profiles. Else, select an option from the Shipping Rates list.
- Enable the selling plans using the settings options on the right. Enabling the plans will create selling plans on all of the selected products. If you want subscribers to have the ability to skip upcoming shipments, enable the Skip feature.
- If you want your subscribers to receive discounts on other purchases outside of their recurring orders, navigate to Bloom Commerce / Discounts and setup a discount for your products and make sure you include Subscribers in your discount settings.
