1. We always recommend doing a quick review of the packages in the release before batching. In the Release section go to the Manage Packages view and use the filters to see all the line items in the packages. Check the quantity filters and look for any packages missing selections. If anything looks amiss make adjustments using the bulk editing tools.
  2. Determine if you want to Unpublish your release once so customers can't make changes. This is more applicable to member choice clubs. You can set an a specific date and time for the release to auto Unpublish in the release settings.
(This might impact the join form or POS if you want members to customize at sign up)
  3. Consider how you want to structure your batches.
    1. Everyone in the release
    2. Specific groups
    3. Pick up vs. shipping members
    4. Customized vs. not customized selections
  4. Create your batch or batches
    1. Filter as needed
    2. Check the members in batch for notes and remove any who shouldn't be included.
    3. Name the batch
  5. Decide to save (draft status) or run the preflight on the batch. Saving allows you to get the batch ready but not commit to a preflight preview
  6. Create the preflight report
  7.  Review Preflight report, checking for the following. Click links in the Preflight report to edit any individual packages to fix errors.
    1. Fulfillment errors
    2. Compliance issues or errors
    3. Discounts
    4. Payment status
    5. Revenue (discounts and shipping)
    6. Shipping rates
    7. Inventory
  8. Update member information or package details as needed
  9. If there is a detail in the report that appears wrong you'll want to update the appropriate setting and then refresh your preflight report. Remember, the discounts and shipping rates displayed in the report are what will be applied to your members orders, if you've changed settings after generating your preflight you'll need to refresh the report as well.
  10. When  member updates their package that change will be reflected in the preflight report up until when that batch is processed. Also any inventory updates or status changes (skipped/hold/cancelled) will also be updated in the report as well.
    - Items that are NOT auto-updated include Discount changes, Shipping rate changes made in Shopify or Bloom Commerce. If updates are made to discounts or shipping rates, refresh the Preflight report before creating orders.
  11. Create orders. Please take note of any final warning banners listed in the order creation pop up.
