Overview

A group is a collections of members in a particular tier that have the same preferences. This could be as simple as all the members in your Case Club or more specifically Founders Club members with a 6 bottle, Red only preference. By adding a group to a release you are including the members in that group in the release. Once a group is included in a release you'll need to set up their default package. By setting a default package for a group you'll be assigning them a set of products to receive. During set up you can also add in additional details about the release for the member's information.

Adding groups to a release

When you add a group to a release you are including all the members within that group in the release. You can do that by selecting the Edit groups button and selecting the group or groups to you wish to include.

Package configuration/Set up

Once a group is added to a release you'll need to set up the packages for the group. To do this select the Set up button next to the group. There you will be prompted to determine the group settings

Availability

- Here you can determine when members in the group can view their packages. When set to Always available they will be able to see their packages as long as the release is published. If you'd like to further limit when they can see their packages then you can set that by selecting the box below Availability.

Customizability.

- This setting allows members the ability to customize their package. Once selected you can also set a minimum number of products required, or minimum price that must be reached in order to change their selections. There is also the ability to limit the amount of products and order total if you'd like to.

Default package

When you set your default package for a group you are assigning all members in that group a set of products. This will be the selections that group will receive. If allowed to customized their selections the default package will be the wines a member will receive if they don't make any changes to their selections.

Here you determine what quantities of each product the members will start with. The default packages section has two formats depending on whether you're allowing your members to customize or not. If you are then the above view will be what you see. If members can't customize then the Min/max column will be hidden.

To begin first determine what products included in the release will be available to this group. If a product shouldn't be visible for a group then toggle the include button to hide it. Once the product have been set you'll determine the amount of each product the members will be assigned. If you're allowing customizations you'll also set the Min/max allowed for each product.

Once all selections have been made, Min/max assigned and products hidden select Save to create the packages for the group.

Group content

Under the content tab for the group you can edit the title of the release page and add in additional information about the release. This could be information about the products in the release, an overview of the release itself or something that's custom to your club.

There is also an option to use the How it works accordion. This feature will open up and can be used to provide your members with additional information on how to edit their selections or whatever other information you'd like to provide them with.

Edit a group in a release

By selecting the Edit groups link in a release you can add or remove groups from the release. Note, removing a group from the release will remove all packages created for that group from the members in the group
